110K People Joined New NFT Gaming Marketplace On Discord

Twitch co-founder Justin Kan called NFTs the “future of gaming” after creating the Fractal NFT gaming marketplace and announced recently that a new blockchain gaming non fungible token (NFT) platform, Fractal, on Thursday.

Fractal’s Discord group has around 111,000 members, despite the fact that it was just released two weeks ago and the most major transaction on the site has been for a “Baby Scoot” NFT, which sold for 4 Solana (SOL) worth roughly $680.

On the Solana-based marketplace, users may buy, sell and trade NFTs utilized in blockchain games. Caveworld, Genopets, The Sandbox, Nyan Heroes, and to name a few, were among the first blockchain games launched by the business on Thursday.

Kan described the Fractal community, which has 111,000 members, as one of the “fastest-growing” in crypto.

Fractal also announced that it will be actually sending 100,000 Fractal NFTs to its members in a second blog post, hinting that they may one day wield governance rights over the marketplace and deliver in-game advantages.

Fractal mentioned that it would also provide support for other blockchains, with Ethereum being the most probable candidate given that The Sandbox metaverse is based on the network.
