Disguised Toast Not Interested Playing Among Us Again

Jeremy Wang, AKA DisguisedToast is one of the most well-known Twitch streamers. He recently spoke with his followers on one his livestreams and revealed that he turned down many opportunities to join the Among Us lobbies.

Among Us was without a doubt the best game of 2020. It was awarded Game of the Year because of its accessibility across all platforms and addictive replayability. Disguised Toast, who was also a key content producer for the game, collaborated with Pokimane as well as other OfflineTV content producers like Valkyrae or Corpse Husband to produce some of the most entertaining content available for their players.

In April, however, his enthusiasm for the game began to wane and he announced that he wouldn’t be making content anymore. He shared the story and claimed that he was offered opportunities to return but has since explained why.

Disguised Toast returned on Twitch to talk to fans. He explained that he rejected five invites to the Among Us lobbies with other content producers, because he did not believe in playing a game he disliked.

Because I don’t have much time, I’ve been thinking about content. Since I left, I think I have been invited to 5 Among Us lobbies. Each time I declined. It’s not something I believe in. It doesn’t matter if the content is for entertainment or viewing.

Toast is unlikely to return to Among Us as a permanent player, given his ongoing collaboration with OfflineTV.

He believes that his recent OTV Rust escapades have been huge successes, though he doesn’t believe the server can be “be an assh*le to” other streamers at the moment because he will most likely see them face-to-face.

Perhaps this will bring him back to Among Us where “ass***e is so big part” of the game.
