Youtube star Dr Disrespect has recently shared some of his thoughts about Jake Paul’s boxing run and it seems like Doc is losing his interest on the matter.
Jake Joseph Paul is an American social media personality and now, a professional boxer. Jake Paul had the combat sports world buzzing after his latest victory. He defeated former UFC champion Tyron Woodley by split decision in Cleveland, moving to 4-0 as a professional boxer and raising his profile as a fighter once again.
However, it seems like there’s some who have been losing interest in Jake Paul’s boxing run and this includes the Youtube star Dr Disrespect. During his most recent live broadcast, Doc asked his viewers; “Anybody see the Jake Paul fight last night? I didn’t.” He explained that although he didn’t see the fight live, he did check out a “rebroadcast” of the match the morning after. For a moment, it seemed as though that was all the Doc had to say about the situation. After a bit of silence, though, Dr Disrespect explained why he decided to skip out on Jake Paul’s latest bout.
According to the streamer, he stated that he is just losing his interest in general with the whole Jake Paul boxing saga.
He explained; “I didn’t, I did catch up this morning with a rebroadcast of the fight, if you will. I’m losing interest, I think that’s what it is. I liked the idea initially, I liked the hype and all this. But now that we’ve seen some lackluster fights, or energy around the fights, I don’t know what it is. How much more can the momentum continue on?” The Two-Time could have a point, compared to other Jake Paul fights, the Tyron Woodley bout didn’t exactly take over the internet like earlier events did. At least, it wasn’t racking up hundreds of thousands of tweets like they did.
