Dr Disrespect, a popular YouTube streamer has shared his views on the Warzone Pacific map reveal. He stated that the design was inspired by the PUBG map.
Call of Duty: Vanguard officially releases on November 5, 2021, for PlayStation 3, Xbox One, and PC. CoD gamers won’t need to wait too long to get back on the battlefields of WW2. Raven Software has yet to announce the date at which the integration with Warzone is to take place, although the triple A title will be released on November 5.
The official Vanguard Multiplayer reveal video gave the community a first glimpse at the Pacific map. The showcase was watched by many streamers across all platforms, including Dr. Disrespect.
Only Dr Disrespect was able to watch it the next day and then he finally shared his thoughts on the Pacific map. The Doc responded to the reveal of the Pacific map during his live broadcast on September 8. He was clearly excited about the Pacific theme and impressed by the map’s tropical design. Doc was even happy when the Creative Director announced that the team would be moving from Verdansk. Doc did not love the beautiful new maps, but he noticed similarities with PUBG, another BR title.
Doc seems to be referring the Sanhok map from PUBG, which was also released in 2018. It shares a tropical theme. He said, “Yes, let’s get rid of that map.” This is nice, it feels very PUBG-like.
