FaZe Clan And OpTic Gaming

Mike Majlak revealed that Ricky Bengston, AKA FaZe banks, confirmed that a FaZe x OpTic collaboration was in the making.

FaZe Banks announced recently that OpTic Gaming and FaZe Clan, two of North America’s most popular esports groups, have merged forces. These two rival organizations had been in conflict for over ten years and now they are collaborating on a merchandise release.

OpTic Gaming and FaZe Clan are often considered pioneers of Call of Duty. Now, 10 years later, the two will be making apparel together, leaving behind their competition.

The collaboration was not new. Mike Majlak accidentally revealed early mockups while vlogging in the FaZe Office last June. Fans waited for the official announcement.

He made the announcement in episode 49 of Mom’s Basement podcast with Keemstar. FaZe explained to us that OpTic is collaborating with them, FaZe said so and it’s “fucking legendary”.

Banks says that the collaborative will include some unique collective goods made for the founders of each organization. According to Banks, these unique products all will be credited back to their origins at the beginning of MW2, which is where they both started.

OpTic has not yet provided any information, and no official release date has been set.

We can still expect this collaboration to be remembered for its historical significance, as the two organizations have been considered rivals for nearly a decade.
