Roblox Error Code 2021 Now, before I start telling you how to fix it, make sure your internet connection is stable. This error code has nothing to do with the website, but more of your internet stability.

If you are having problems playing Roblox due to some sketchy connections or something similar, try using another internet source or just go home where you know your connection will be stable.

A good way to test if it’s the network that’s causing this problem is by opening up a game on your computer where you play Roblox fine and try the game on Roblox again. If it doesn’t work then chances are it’s not Roblox.

How To Fix Roblox Error Code 277 For Linux Users

If you ever get this error code when running Roblox in Wine, try playing it in Windows instead. There are reports that the game might not be supported in Linux. Error Code 2021 Fix 1

Error Code 2021 Solution 1

Disable IPv6 This is by far the most reported fix for this error. To disable IPv6, right-click on your network adapter and go to “Properties.” You will want to “Disable” IPv6 if enabled or have the choice of disabling both protocols which means you choose them one at a time so they can take effect.

After doing this restart your computer again if necessary and load up Roblox. Hopefully, it should work!

Error Code 2021 Solution 2

Change Your DNS This is another great solution that fixes Error Code 2021. All you have to do is go to “Network and Internet -> Network and Sharing Center” from the control panel or search box.

It may be a little different for some people, but once there click on your current internet connection which should be from an ISP (Internet Service Provider).

After this, click on properties and you will see one of three messages: No access No Authentication No information available. If you get the first message then it means there are no problems with your internet so move along.

If you get the second message or if no messages appear at all – keep reading. Once on the window that says “Unidentified Network,” select “Network settings.” A new window will come up with another option called “Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv4).” Click on “Properties” and then click on the radio button that says “Use the following DNS server addresses.”

You will then be given two boxes where you need to put in two numbers which are for your primary and secondary DNS. If you’re not sure what they are, here is a table showing some common ones:

Primary Secondary Google OpenDNS Level 3 Comodo Secure DNS 4.2.2.1 4.2.2.2 Norton ConnectSafe – IPv4 7.6.1.1 7.6 Schoolcraft College – IPv4 4.2.2.3 4,2,2.,3 Comcast High Speed Internet – IPv4 67.215.65.132 67,215,64 132

Some ISP’s don’t give out these numbers but rather automatically sets them to what they need you to use by default which usually is the same values as the ones listed above. When finished click on “OK” then “Close.” You can now restart your computer and try playing Roblox again!

Hopefully, it should work now without any problems!

Error Code 2021 1 Solution 3

Update Graphics Driver If you have an old or outdated graphics driver chances are that might be causing this problem so updating it could be really helpful!

To update your graphics driver go to www.nvidia.com or amd.com on who made your card. Just search for “graphics driver” and your card’s model number.

You will then be given a page that has all the updates needed for your specific card to work properly with Roblox. To update it follow their instructions and restart your computer after updating it.

Error Code 2021 Solution 4

Disable IPv4 This is only if you’re sure you cannot fix Error Code 2021 using other solutions such as those stated above or below. If you feel like this could be the problem, try disabling IPv4 off of your internet connection by following these simple

1) Go to Network & Sharing Center

2) Click on Change adapter settings (left side of the window)

3) Select the connection that is currently being used for internet access (normally Local Area Connection)

4) Right-click on the connection and go to Properties.

5) Once in properties go to “Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)”

6) Click on the option that says “Properties”

7) On this window you’ll want to select either one of these two options: *Use the following DNS server addresses **Preferred DNS server: 8.8.8.8 ***Alternate DNS Server: 8.8.4.4

After doing so, restart your computer again if necessary and attempt to load up Roblox. If it still doesn’t work then unfortunately there isn’t anything else you can do at this point and you should just wait until the problem is fixed.

If it does work, however, then congratulations! You can now play Roblox once again.

The reason why this worked for so many people is that Google Public DNS servers are used by a lot of people and exploits tend to use Google’s servers as a host for whatever malicious code they contain within them which causes their exploit to fail when anyone encounters these kinds of problems and uses alternate public DNS services like those mentioned previously (8.8.8.8, 8.8.4.4, 4.2.2.1, etc.).

Keep in mind that using public DNS servers will lower your security as someone could potentially redirect your traffic to wherever they want (even malware) if they have access to their own public DNS server so it’s always better to use your ISP’s one unless you know what you are doing.

You should also change the affected Roblox account’s password if possible/necessary, especially if the exploit was able to steal your password by logging your keystrokes or hijacking other programs on your computer that would allow them to do so such as a remote administration tool or a keylogger that is secretly running in the background since those can easily be used to obtain passwords from anywhere on a person’s system.

In order to prevent yourself from being hacked for as long as possible though, it would also be wise not to click any suspicious-looking links within the game itself either because some exploits package themselves within the code and infect random parts of Roblox’s website (or any other domain) in order to prevent being traced back to them when doing so.

In addition, they may also try to redirect you to a different malicious site either from within the game or through something else by following links within chat messages, profile comments, group ads, etc.

The best way however would be just to wait until Roblox fixes it themselves by updating their website with a newer version of Roblox Studio that doesn’t have the exploit in it anymore which will remove all traces of it on their servers including all files infected with this exploit so none of your personal information stored on the website is compromised during this whole thing since exploits tend to work by spying on users as they use Roblox’s website from within the browser.

This way you won’t have to worry about your personal information being stolen, but it can take a while before this happens depending on how much attention this exploit has garnered and whether or not their servers were infected with any of the malicious code so only time will tell and we’ll just have to wait for an official response from them.

Conclusion

In conclusion, if you encountered this problem today here is what I recommend:

Try to load up Roblox again and see if it works now? If not then try using 8.8.8.8 as your DNS server instead (and restart your computer afterward) and see if that fixes it? If not then try using 4.2.2.1 as your DNS server instead (and restart your computer afterward) and see if that fixes it?

If not then change the affected Roblox account’s password immediately to prevent being hacked before they can steal whatever else they want from you? Try to avoid clicking suspicious-looking links within the game until this is fixed by Roblox themselves?

Please let me know if one of these steps solved your problem or if you have any other questions in the comments below, thanks! 🙂
