The process of removing pinsentry from your Kodi should be as easy and simple. First, you will need to open up the program on your computer that granted access in order for this removal routine to work properly so do not skip steps if at all possible!

You must have been wondering how exactly can I get rid of presence? Well fret no longer because there are two methods (although there could potentially be more) depending upon what type or model device is being used by default with regards to gaming platforms like Xbox One/PS4 etcetera – but first let’s start off where every good story begins…

Notes: – Delete your existing repositories before the first run (This will save you issues) – You must shutdown and restart Kodi after first running once or nothing will happen – skips repo update if on latest version already, only updates repos if it’s older than what’s supplied within file source. -, not 100% sure if this will work but I assume it should, however, we do have another version you can use to be sure it’s gone instead and does not come back (see links below)

Hello Friend, In this article, I will explain how to delete pinsentry from Kodi. As you probably know, Pinsentry is a malware add-on that was released in February 2017. This malware add-on has been stealing people’s private data since it came out and getting them locked out of their own accounts as well as receiving spam emails containing viruses and malware.

The worst thing this trash addon is used for is gaining root access to your Kodi box without consent, which can lead to losing all your files and data on the box. It’s a good idea to remove this trash addon from your system as soon as possible.

I have an issue with your addon after I use it…I deleted my pinsentry as you instructed but then Kodi doesn’t work anymore..it will only run on safe mode please help me fix this Reply Delete

Thanks for letting us know – may I ask what device you’re using? We’re receiving some reports that Pinsentry is still being pushed by certain repositories so we do need people to be aware and let us know so we can update the script accordingly… Delete

I found out that the problem is not the addon it’s in my Kodi settings, if you uncheck “show adult content” it will work fine. This is in video and addons > video addons Reply Delete

Great instructions for getting rid of Pinsentry! I’m wondering though: how do you delete all repositories? Is there an easy way to reinstall them after deleting one or two (like through a file manager)? Thanks again πŸ™‚ Reply Delete

Hi, Friend Repositories are like apps on your smartphone. You can install them by going to Install from repository and they’re usually under Video Add-ons. If you go back into that section you can reinstall them by choosing the one you want to install again. Delete

You need to delete all the repositories then go into settings> addons> video addons & uninstall any that are in there related to PinsEntry….then reboot. If you still have issues………….. Please set your system up for debugging and submit a full debug log which you can find here: https://kodi.wiki/view/Log_file/Easy Reply Delete

Thanks for your response. I rebooted and uninstalled all repositories and still have the same issue. The only repo still installed is video addons and when I go in there it says all items are disabled. If this is a common problem with no simple solution please consider making a post on youtube so people like me that aren’t as technical can easily get around this. Reply Delete
