Imane Anys, aka Pokimane, is expanding her Twitch streaming business and YouTube content production roots.
RTS is a brand consultancy and talent management company that values creators. It was launched by Pokimane, who also serves as co-founder.
Stuart Saw, RTS CEO, is a former SVP for esports of Endeavor talent administration. In a statement, he said that “Imane (and I) began to talk last year about how we can rebuild RTS so that it reimagines the creator economy and creates esports in an industry that is focused on sustainability.”
RTS has a number of gaming industry professionals at the corporate level. Kim Phan (a former Blizzard product manager) has been appointed chief operating officer. Sue Lee has been named vice president for talent management. Kevin Lin (co-founder and former COO of Twitch) will be a member of RTS’ advisory committee.
Pokimane loves RTS. He believes that it can transform the industry for creators.
She said that she keeps seeing “incredible creators” who are creating amazing content streams. But, they lack the resources to expand their business.
According to Pokimane RTS may help creators improve partnership agreements, lower creator workload and offer support in achieving mutually beneficial sponsorships. Her experience as an experienced creative was highlighted and she expressed her desire to help young talents avoid the same pitfalls and issues that she encountered.
Pokimane said, “My goal was to take my many years of experience and make them accessible to newer creators so that they don’t have to go through what I went through.”
RTS is open to collaboration with other companies like Epic Games and Facebook.
