Team Liquid All-Female Valorant Team

One of the most well-known names in eSports, Team Liquid has signed an all-female VALORANT team from Brazil, which is made up of former members of the Gamelanders Purple team.

The team members are Paola Caroline AKA ‘drn’, Natália Vilela AKA ‘daik’, Ana Beatriz Gomes AKA ‘naxy’, Paula Nagiul AKA ‘bstrdd’, and Natália Meneses AKA ‘nat1’ and Team Liquid’s official announcement of the signing can be found here.

Coach Andre Gomes AKA ‘palestra’ will accompany them after G2 eSports signed another all-female roster from Brazil, G2 Gozen.

Team Liquid now has a new roster to compete in the upcoming VCT Game Changers, one of several events that will kick off the 2022 Valorant” season.

The CEO of Team Liquid Steve Arhancet said that he’s ecstatic about the newest addition to their roster, and claimed that women put in a lot of effort to show the world just what they’re capable of.

With this signing, the eSports behemoth strengthened its position in the Brazilian market.

SambaDigital has described Brazil’s competitive gaming scene as a sleeping giant, with Twitch viewership of popular eSports increasing, and the country’s gaming industry earning $1.5 billion in 2019. This sector is expected to grow by another 5.3 percent this year, according to experts.

The short answer is that it’s pretty good. Even tyrannical. And this is demonstrated by the team’s performance in their most recent competitions. They’ve proven to be a great signing so far, but given Team Liquid’s winning history, there’s a lot riding on their shoulders.
