Popular Minecraft YouTuber Technoblade raised $323,000 to support cancer research in his stream. This was after he made the horrible announcement about his diagnosis.


Technoblade is the Minecraft YouTube star who returned to the web on August 27, after a long hiatus. However, he received the devastating news that he was being treated for cancer.


Members of the Minecraft community rallied around YouTuber to offer their support and wish him well.


Celebrities like Dream and awesomedude joined forces to raise money for charities.


Technoblade held his charity event with a humorous twist. It allowed viewers to control the game through donations. The result was $323,000 generated in just four hours. The Minecraft star had one goal for the event: beat the game. But it wasn’t as easy as it looks. The gifts donated could be from any number of items that would help him or harm him.


Prizes for donations range from $25 for a wither that was tagged with your username to $15 for a gift for the YouTuber with a random item to spawn.


The donations were not the only thing that made the show unique. Several people joined the live broadcast to find Technoblade and track him down as they reached major milestones. As milestones were reached, other notable Minecraft creators like Philza, Ranboo and Squid Kid made unexpected appearances.


Technoblade exceeded his $250,000 fundraising goal in just four hours. He raised $323,000 to support research on Sarcoma Foundation of America. This charity supports children with a particular type of cancer. The YouTuber thanked the community for all their efforts in Discord after the event was over.
