The Wolf Among Us 2 Stream Set Revealed

On Wednesday, February 9, Geoff Keighley will host a stream with new information about The Wolf Among Us 2 in collaboration with Telltale Games.

This week, Geoff Keighley, the creator of the Game Awards, will host a live broadcast for The Wolf Among Us 2. The original Telltale Games announced the release of a second season of the noir mystery during SDCC 2017 to the delight of fans of the series. Bigby Wolf’s return was effectively shattered by Telltale’s closure in late 2018, but The Wolf Among Us 2 resurfaced at the 2019 Game Awards. However, very little of the sequel has been shown since then.

For Bigby and Co’s next big adventure, the Telltale Games team was able to enlist some help. The company confirmed that developers from AhHoc Studio had jumped on board to see The Wolf Among Us 2 through to completion when it re-released the game in December 2019. Telltale’s partners on the sequel know a thing or two about the people of Fabletown, thanks to former Telltale employees who played a key role in the first season of Wolf Among Us, who founded AdHoc Studio in early 2019. Despite this, there isn’t much information about The Wolf Among Us 2’s setting, which takes place six months after Season 1’s events.

Geoff Keighley (via IGN) announced his participation in an upcoming stream for The Wolf Among Us 2 on Twitter yesterday, February 7. On Twitch and YouTube, the Keighley-hosted broadcast will begin at 10:00 a.m. PT on Wednesday, February 9th. Those who tune in can expect a behind-the-scenes look at the long-awaited project, according to the host. There is currently no word on how long the stream will last or what Telltale Games intends to show on it.

The extremely long wait to learn more about The Wolf Among Us 2 will soon come to an end, much to the delight of many. Because The Wolf Among Us 2 uses Unreal Engine and has yet to be shown in action, it’s possible that even the tiniest glimpses of gameplay will be featured at some point. In 2019, Telltale Games confirmed the shift in technology, noting that the crew was able to restart production from the ground up after removing the old Telltale Tool engine.

The first season of The Wolf Among Us, based on Bill Willingham’s Eisner Award-winning comic series Fables, began airing in October 2013.

Players followed Fabletown Sheriff Bigby Wolf as he worked with allies like Snow White to unmask a killer responsible for a series of grisly murders over the course of five critically acclaimed episodes. The season’s fifth and final episode ended on a cliffhanger that has sparked debate among fans of the show.
