Upcoming Top Ten Fortnite Streamers for 2019

2018 was a massive year for FPS shooters, most notably Fortnite. Twitch is continuing to gain momentum and more and more viewers and streamers are joining the platform. Ever since Lost Ark was released, the Korean streaming community has been a growing community on the predominantly English-speaking platform, and a few other non-English streamers are also often seen among top-viewed channels in some gaming categories.

However, deciding which new streamer to watch for a change of pace can be a bit overwhelming.  Therefore, we have compiled a list of some lesser-known and up-and-coming Fortnite streamers that you might be interested in checking out.

1. Symfuhny

Mason Lanier is a North American streamer who started streaming on Twitch in April 8, 2016. Although he started out with H1Z, he decided to switch to Fortnite in April 2018. Since then, he has gained recognition for his editing and shooting skills and has been steadily growing his base of followers. One of his career highlights included killing Tfue and Cloakzy in the ‘2018 Summer Fornite Skirmish’.

2. Loeya

Liah is a Swedish streamer who has been gaming since she was a child. She started streaming during the same month that Fortnite was released and her channel has been growing steadily since then. She is known for her Fortnite victory dances, helium-voices, consistency and constant engagement with her chat followers.

3. Nickmercs

Nick Kolcheff grew up playing console games, but eventually transferred to PC games, due to his preference of communication options on PC games over consoles for FPS team-shooter games. He started participating in tournaments at 16. In 2011, he started uploading content onto YouTube and began focusing on Twitch in 2014. Prior to 2017, he primarily produced content for CoD and Gears of War but switched to Fortnite as his main game upon its release in 2017.

4. Wildcat

Tyler Wine has been producing content since 2011, when he was inspired by other streamers such as Syndicate and Ali-A. By collaborating with other small streamers, he was slowly able to grow as a streamer, and as with other content-creators, his channel really grew when he switched to Fortnite upon its release in 2017. In 2018, he teamed up with Marksman and one the ‘Duo Fornite Summer Skirmish’ and won against Cloakzy and Tfue.

5. KingRichard

Richard Nelson is a father of one who likes to protect his private life. He has gained popularity as a streamer both due to his entertaining reactions and real FPS skills, to the extent that he has earned captaincy of EnVyUs.  He also set a world record of 19 kills without damage in Fortnite on April 9, 2018.


6. ItsSky

Aiste is a Lithuanian streamer who creates both Fortnite and IRL content. She started playing games when she was a child and has always loved them due to the immersive experience that they allow into various fantasy worlds. She created her Twitch channel in July 2017 and has been consistently been producing content ever since, choosing her username as the English translation of her real name.

7. CourageJD

Jack Dunlop was first introduced to the professional eSports scene when his friends signed him up for a Halo tournament in 2007. Although he participated in some tournaments, his main love was eSports announcements, and so he signed applied for a position as an intern at Major League Gaming and slowly worked his way p the ranks. However, he never lost is love of actual gameplay and decided to quit casting to focus on streaming his own gameplays. Much of his content features his eleven-year-old in-game Fornite friend, Conner.

8. Yelo

Yelo is a mysterious streamer who has somehow managed to maintain total anonymity despite his being creating streaming content since October 2014. Aside from his skills, all that his known about him is that he’s from somewhere in North America and is a member of Team FazE. What makes his channel even more unique is that he barely speaks during his gameplays, aside from discussions with his teammates.

Jonah Mills is a 15-year-old streamer who joined Twitch in January 2016 and started streaming his Fortnite gameplay in early 2018. He started really rising to prominence when he was signed on to Team SoloMid Junior in late 2018. He is known for his sarcasm and snarky engagement with his chat, as well as his editing skills.


10. Mongraal

Kyle Jackson is a Fortnite prodigy hailing from Bexley, London. At the age of thirteen his skills gained him enough noticed to be partnered with Twitch and signed on with Team Secret. His popularity has even earned him recognition with the Fortnite community for Epic to partner with him to set up his own official £400 speed editing challenge in Fortnite’s new Creative mode.
