Valkyrae’s Streaming Schedule Changes Due To Health Condition

YouTube star Valkyrae recently was diagnosed with a jaw condition. She has provided updates to her viewers on the upcoming broadcasts.

Rachell Hofstetter, AKA Valkyrae, is undoubtedly one of the most popular streamers within the gaming industry right now. Her first streaming experience was on Twitch, but she later signed a streaming agreement with YouTube in 2020. Since then, she has become an extremely popular streamer in online broadcasting.

Being a high-ranking steamer may not be as glamorous as you might think. Valkyrae must balance her streaming and physical health. She also has to deal with stalkers, pushy fans and other annoying people.

Last August 31, Valkyrae disclosed that her future streams might be less frequent due to the condition she recently was diagnosed with, temporomandibular dysfunction of jaw. She may also not talk as often as before.

Temporomandibular joint disorder, also known as TMJ, causes pain in the jaw joints and difficulty chewing. It can also cause clicking or locking problems in the jaw.

This makes it difficult to talk, so Valkyrae warned her fans she might not be able to speak in future streams until her problems are solved.

Her fans and streamers quickly rallied her support. However, this wasn’t her first interruption due to Valkyrae suffering from health problems.

In June, she informed her followers that she would cancel a stream because she thought it was appendicitis. However, she turned out to actually be suffering from pain caused by an ovarian cyst. She described the experience as traumatizing and said that her situation is still “traumatizing.”

We wish Valkyrae all the best while she heals from the jaw pain.
